Our Classes Make us Different
Our class curriculum is like no other. As craft distilling grows in popularity, more and more of our students fit into the “hobbyist” category, those that want to turn making spirits into a passion project versus making it a lifelong career.
Our program not only teaches the ins-and-outs of making distilled spirits under the supervision of people that are actually making a living selling whiskey, but unlike any other program we know, our program provides guidance and instruction on how to create quality product from smaller, lower volume stills.
What this means is that you’ll be taking distilling classes and getting an understanding of the process at two levels. You’ll learn the fundamentals and see how they are applied at a larger production facility with commercial mash cookers, stills, fermentation tanks and packaging. Then, you’ll see how all these production methods can be miniaturized, into a manageable process for an individual or group of individuals wishing to try their hand at making their own whiskey.
Disclaimer: Unlicensed manufacturing of distilled spirits is currently illegal.
